Cohesion Marketing Partners and The Beauty CMO team up to expand footprint and offering

 

A Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization’s marketing and advertising initiatives. The CMO ensures the organization’s message is distributed across channels, and to targeted audiences, in order to meet sales objectives.

The back story…

Within the Beauty Industry, many local salons do not have the operational budget, nor the insight, to hire an in-house Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This leads to mismanaged marketing efforts, inconsistent branding, and/or lack of ownership of the marketing efforts, overall. In 2016 Lauren Bender saw this glaring need in an industry she had a passion for, and founded The Beauty CMO.

2 years prior, Jennifer Anderson saw this very same challenge with many of the clients she worked with at Viamark Advertising, and founded Cohesion Marketing Partners. Since then Cohesion has held firm to its affiliation with Viamark Advertising, and together they have hired a Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Manager and Video Services Manager, and focused on offering marketing and advertising services on an outsourced basis to retail, healthcare, and automotive clients. “Bringing all of these services in-house allows us to create custom marketing campaigns, and manage the cost to the client. We aren’t farming the work out and marking it up”, says Anderson.

Joining forces…

Jennifer and Lauren, who have known each other for 10 years, knew they were providing similar services, and frequently discussed how pairing would enable them to bring each other’s expertise into specific industries and marketing initiatives. “The time was finally right,” said Bender. “This just makes sense. Combining The Beauty CMO with the Cohesion Marketing Partners organization will allow us to bring more marketing tools and opportunities to our clients. Their in-house capabilities give us a huge advantage, I’m really excited to be a part of this group”.

Anderson follows up, “Lauren is creative and intelligent and works so hard for her clients. And, her experience in the beauty and automotive industries is vast and solid. That, combined with our experience in retail and healthcare, allows us to strategize and execute solid and cohesive campaigns for our clients, at a fraction of the cost for the client to hire a CMO in-house.
